Hospicing Modernity Calls

Gather each Tuesday evening at 7pm-8pm for just £12 per month

What are the Hospicing Modernity Calls?

A space to witness the unraveling—and meet it with presence.

We are living in a time of profound uncertainty, disruption, and endings. Systems we’ve long relied on—social, political, ecological, and economic—are showing signs of deep collapse. For many, this brings grief, confusion, and a sense of disorientation. But what if, rather than rushing to fix or bypass what’s breaking down, we turned toward it with care?

Hospicing Modernity is a weekly space to do just that.

Inspired by the practice of holding space for the dying, hospicing modernity invites us to sit with the endings of the world as we’ve known it. It asks us to listen deeply to what is falling away, what no longer serves, and what we might need to grieve in order to imagine something different.

This is not a space for easy answers or quick solutions. It’s a space for honest reflection, shared inquiry, and courageous presence.

Together, we ask:

  • What are we being asked to let go of?

  • How do we live meaningfully in a time of collapse?

  • What stories are dying, and what might be trying to emerge?

Why do we need to hospice modernity together?

Because staying awake to these times requires community, reflection, and ritual.

Because many of us are carrying grief we haven’t named, or questions we’ve been told not to ask.

Because in witnessing the unraveling together, we begin to remember that we are not alone—and that even in collapse, there can be beauty, dignity, and meaning.

If you’re feeling the pull to slow down, to grieve, to unlearn, and to be in conversation with others doing the same—this space is for you.

What to Expect Inside the Calls

These calls are not about performance, productivity, or polished answers. They are about returning to something more ancient, more human, and more true.

Each Hospicing Modernity call offers a gently held space where you are invited to drop beneath the surface—into the deeper waters of feeling, remembering, and being. I guide meditations designed to support nervous system regulation, spacious awareness, and emotional grounding. These aren’t about “clearing your mind”—they’re about listening more honestly to what’s already there.

You’ll also be welcomed into communal practices of lament and keening—ancestral ways of giving voice to grief, disorientation, and the ache of living in a world unraveling. In a culture that often silences grief or demands we keep moving, these spaces offer rare permission to pause and release.

There is no requirement to participate or speak. You can mute yourself, turn off your camera, and simply receive. This is a space where your quiet presence is enough. Many people find that the depth of the process is felt most powerfully in stillness and listening.

This is not just self-care. It is collective soul-tending—a necessary act of love in times like these. Whether you’re holding personal grief, global sorrow, or a deep longing for something more meaningful, this space is here to meet you where you are.
