The journey around this weave, spiralling down into the depths of myself and then beginning the ascent with the wisdom that I gained on the journey. This weave is a symbol of the divine feminine and all that she resembles in her power. Her ability to journey, to meandor, to change direction and to soften into trust.
All made with beautiful yarn that I purchased from Shrewsbury's craft store. When you enter the shop, it is full of women bringing the ancient crafts through to the next generations.
There's so much intricate pattern in this weave. All of it guided by spirit. It's really beautiful to hold and observe.
One soft grey circle, spun from my grey kitty's shed. The fur is powerful. It's holding. His presence is witnessing of the female mysteries.
All of this weave was done to the right until on the last rows, I was shown that going left, taking a new direction, was not only OK, it was the key to completion.
